Super Clean is a decent free junk cleaning and device boosting tool for Android that’s easy to use and offers a variety of handy features, but it isn’t a proper antivirus. Plus, its ads are intrusive and annoying, and it’s missing key extra features like a firewall and a virtual private network (VPN).įor a full-featured antivirus with perfect malware detection and useful extras like web protection, parental controls, and much more, you’re far better off going with a premium competitor like Norton or Bitdefender. Its security scanner doesn’t seem to do much (and is only available intermittently), it doesn’t have web protection, it only works with Android, and it has very basic and unresponsive customer support. However, while Super Clean has some useful features, it can’t be considered an effective antivirus app. It offers a variety of tools that can free up space on your device, like app cleaner, app manager, photo and video cleaner, and more, and it’s easy to install and use. Super Clean (formerly Super Cleaner) is a decent free junk and phone performance-boosting app that’s only available for Android.
While it does a decent job of cleaning junk from your device, it doesn’t have strong malware protections or all the useful extra features that top brands like Norton offer.
If you’re looking for an antivirus app for your Android, Super Clean isn’t the best option.
